These include helping with pluming (the feather on the hat), distributing snacks/meals among other things. This committee helps to coordinate signups and chaperone volunteers.

The Hats Off to the Band Community Parade is a beloved summer tradition and a key fundraising event for the Elkhorn South band program. Each year, a neighborhood is chosen to host the parade, where the marching band performs a variety of tunes learned during band camp while marching through the community.
A highlight of the event is the opportunity to purchase yard concerts, where the band stops to play a selected song for a donation. This fun and interactive event brings the community together while supporting the band program.
Committee Chairs: Ana Sanchez and Heather Scholting

The Band Boosters loves to recognize the successes of our talented students and directors throughout the year. This chair would help coordinate student and staff recognition efforts as appropriate. Specifically, help to organize the Post NSBA (Nebraska State Bandmasters Competition) breakfast in October. This event signals the end of marching season and helps to celebrate the band's accomplishments. This chair would also represent the Band Boosters on the Band Booster Scholarship selection committee.
